Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Juns Studio handles personal data collected through this website. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.

Who we are

Juns Studio is a sole proprietorship based in Denmark, run by Juns. Contact: juns@junsstudio.net. We act as the data controller for any personal information processed through this website.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, email, and any project details you choose to share. Waitlist signups: your email address. The Founding 10 form additionally collects your name, company, role, team size, use case, and urgency. Server-side technical data: IP address, user agent, referrer, and request metadata handled by Cloudflare for routing, abuse protection, and rate limiting on the waitlist API. Analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage data — see the Analytics section below.

Why we use it

To respond to inquiries and prepare quotes for projects you contact us about. To confirm waitlist signups and send occasional updates about what we are building. To prevent abuse (rate limiting and spam protection on forms). To understand how the site is used and improve it over time. Legal basis: your consent (when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, basic analytics).

Service providers we use

Cloudflare (USA / EU): site hosting, DNS, edge security, and the D1 database that stores waitlist entries. Resend (Ireland, eu-west-1): transactional email — the welcome message you get after signing up. Formspree (USA): the contact form on /contact submits through Formspree before reaching our inbox. Slack (USA): internal notifications when a new waitlist signup arrives. Each provider is bound by their own data protection terms. Some transfers may go outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not set tracking cookies and does not identify individual visitors. It records aggregate data such as page views, referrer, country, and device type.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use your browser's local storage to remember your language preference (key: juns-lang) and to suppress the language prompt after you've answered it. You can clear this in your browser settings at any time.

How long we keep data

Waitlist entries: kept until you ask us to remove your email. Contact form messages: kept in our inbox for at most 24 months unless an active engagement requires longer. Analytics: aggregate data only, retained indefinitely (no individual data is stored).

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection to processing, or portability of your personal data. Email juns@junsstudio.net and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk) if you believe your data has been handled improperly.

Contact

For privacy questions, email juns@junsstudio.net. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. The 'last updated' date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Substantial changes will be flagged on the homepage or via email if you are on the waitlist.
