Cold-smoked Danish salmon with dill crème fraîche, pickled cucumber, and toasted rye crispbread. A classic, perfected.
Slow-roasted Danish venison with juniper jus, root vegetable gratin, and lingonberry reduction. Warming and deeply satisfying.

Our Philosophy
Saga Bistro was founded by chef Erik Solberg in 2018 after a decade cooking in kitchens across Stockholm, Paris, and Aarhus. Returning to Copenhagen, Erik wanted to create something honest — a restaurant that celebrates Danish produce without pretension.
Every dish on our menu is built around what is freshest and best each week. We work directly with small-scale farms on Sjælland and Fyn, and our fish comes daily from Øresund. When something is at its peak, we cook it simply and with great care.
Our dining room seats 40 guests in an intimate, unhurried atmosphere. We believe good food deserves time — time to prepare, and time to enjoy.
